*Instead of a fixed fee for a route, you'll earn based on your deliveries. More successful deliveries lead to higher earnings, with rates also factoring in time and mileage, but every delivery attempt gets rewarded.
Earnings depend on the delivery area and the delivery vehicle used. We aim to ensure that the number of parcels assigned for delivery in a given route is realistic and achievable. Congestion charges are not included in your earnings and we will track and reimburse the congestion charges you have incurred as part of the weekly payment. Some routes may take more or less time than planned for based on your past experience and knowledge of the routes.
** Our top couriers are customer obsessed, follow customers’ delivery instructions and have a high rate of delivered parcels. Top couriers will have early access to routes for the following week and will have a higher flexibility to choose preferred routes.

What insurance do I need to have?

To deliver with Relay, you will need a ‘Hire and Reward’ insurance as well as the minimum legal motor insurance as required by law. Hire and Reward insurance is a type of vehicle insurance that is a legal requirement when using your vehicles for business purposes, such as parcel deliveries with Relay. When you complete your application, you will be asked if you have a Hire and Reward insurance. If you don't, we will be able to support you with an insurance cover. Please note that this is only top-up insurance. You must still need to have a valid motor insurance policy in place and provide proof of this to Relay.

As part of your application, you will be required to confirm whether you have your own insurance or are interested to sign up for the Aviva Group Insurance Policy.Upon successful verification of all the other supporting documents and completion of the online training, your application will accepted and you will be onboarded as a Relay courier. Upon successful onboarding, you will be automatically signed up for the AVIVA Group policy. This Hire and Reward top-up insurance is in addition to the motor insurance policy which you must already have in place.

What if I already have Hire and Reward insurance?

If you already have the ‘Hire and Reward’ insurance, along with the minimum legal motor insurance, you do not need additional cover
